Hugo is a registered specialist in periodontics and qualified as a dentist from the University of Lisbon.

He completed a 3 years full-time specialist training programme in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Lisbon. He holds a Diploma in Clinical Periodontology from Gothenburg University and he completed a post-graduation in Implant Dentistry at the Oral Rehabilitation Institute, in Lisbon.

 

Hugo used to teach undergraduates in Portugal and is currently an academic clinical lecturer at the Perio MSc program at the University of Manchester and he lectures regularly to dentists around the United Kingdom.
